Overview

Spathe Systems is seeking a Program Manager (PM) in support of an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government.

 

Spathe Systems is a full scope systems integrator specializing in Enterprise IT Service Management, Software and Application Development, and Cyber Security Services. We are a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC, and strategic partner locations in the National Capitol Region. Responsibilities

SPATHE is looking for a qualified individual to support an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government. The Program Manager (PM) must possess the aptitude, knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability necessary to perform the following tasks:

  • Shall be the Task Order (TO) manager and the contract lead for this contract
  • Responsible planning and delivering contracted services according to the government requirements

Qualifications

Requirements:



  • Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Systems Engineering or related field, and at least 4 years of work experience as a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager

  • Experience managing complex enterprise IT projects, operations, systems, and DEVOPS of a medium to large scale services enterprise (+2300 users)

  • Experience managing and supervising employees of various labor categories, skills, and experience levels to deliver full scope IT Service Management

  • Ability to implement innovative approaches in fulfilling requirements to improve IT services with a potential for cutting overall cost finding efficiencies using technology

  • Experience in leadership of complex tasks, including review of work products for correctness, compliance with industry best practices, and the DoD/Army standards

  • Experience translating TO requirements into project plans and milestones, directing and implementing plans, presenting formal project status/plan briefings to stakeholders/Government managers


 



Clearance:



  • TOP SECRET clearance required


 


Preferred Skills/Qualifications:



  • Experience working in the Defense Acquisition environment

  • Demonstrated written and oral communications skills with experience briefing executive level personnel

  • Possess project management certifications such as PMP or equivalent certifications


 


Work Location:



  • One location – Alexandria, Virginia


 


Schedule:



  • Contractor personnel working on-site are required to work up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, during the contract period. A typical duty day while present onsite is from 0800 to 1730 Eastern Time (ET), Monday through Friday. The scope of this contract provides 24/7/365 IT Service Management and support. As such, some positions may be required to perform shift work and may be required to provide surge capability in support of the customer’s mission.


 


Travel:



  • Travel may be required to various CONUS and OCONUS locations at the direction of the customer
