Spathe is currently searching for a System Integration Engineer to join our team in the Tampa, FL area.

Responsibilities

Summary:

The System Integration Engineer will help SOCOM enable secure access to DOD or custom applications across various classifications of networks and endpoints and operating systems, throughout the SIE.  They should be ready to support day to day operations of the environment, to innovate, accept challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills to technology-based business model that creates real-world solutions for the world.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and support Hypori operational environments.
  • Consult with client stakeholders on deployment design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Provide on-site and remote integration engineering support.
  • Support pre-sales and proof of concept deployments (setup, configure, deliver, deploy, test, integrate).
  • Author and provide documentation of the deployed solution, various implementation strategies, custom solutions, and product capabilities.
  • Gather/interpret customer requirements and provide product Roadmap feedback to the development team.

Qualifications

Education

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science preferred or other related scientific or technical discipline

Experience

  • 8+ years of professional engineering experience with a combination of the following technologies:
  • Linux operating systems, familiarity with iOS and Android environments
  • Virtualization technology system administration such as Nutanix, VMWare, KVM, and other Hypervisors
  • Server technology to include: DRAC, BIOS, PXE, DNS, LDAP, monitoring, and debugging methods
  • Integration of platform servers with customer infrastructure, to include rack layout and power consumption
  • Design & documentation in Visio, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to quickly debug problems on customer site as needed
  • Systems and Network Security (DoD/Gov, STIGs, IDS/IPS, Multi-factor Authentication)
  • Knowledge of cryptography implementation especially PKI and certificate handling
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace
  • Skilled at working in tandem with cross-functional teams, including engineers and project managers
  • Self-motivated individual who requires limited supervision and has excellent time management skills

Certifications

  • 8570 - IAT2/IAT3 (Required) – Typically Security+ CE
  • Active Top Secret Clearance (Required)
