Overview

Spathe Systems is seeking a Visual Information (VI) Services Lead in support of an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government.

 

Spathe Systems is a full scope systems integrator specializing in Enterprise IT Service Management, Software and Application Development, and Cyber Security Services. Responsibilities

SPATHE is looking for a qualified individual to support an Enterprise IT Service Management opportunity in the National Capitol Region supporting the United States Government. The VI Services Lead must possess the aptitude, knowledge, interpersonal skills, and ability necessary to perform the following tasks:



  • Responsible for coordinating with all necessary organizations to satisfy every VTC user request for multipoint, point-to-point, secure, and non-secure VTC conferences.

  • Supervise the installation, operation and maintenance of endpoints including portable systems and software-based Cisco Movi/Jabber clients.

  • Oversee maintenance actions including inspections, service contracts, and upgrades. Perform visual inspections and testing weekly and before every use.

  • Support monthly communication checks.

  • Review and validate log of all MACs performed to the VTC network.

  • Ensure VTC system components meet all STIG requirements as set forth by DISA.

  • Configure dial plans and associated call policies in the VCS control and expressway servers.

  • Provide user training for call planning, scheduling process, and system controls and operations.

Qualifications

 Requirements:



  • BA/BS or equivalent + 8 years. of experience in Video and Audio communications

  • CCNP Collaboration Certification or equivalent Collaboration certification

  • ITIL v3/4 Certification

  • DoDI 8570.01m Certification

  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience using VTC Codecs, Audio Mixers, Multipoint Control Unit (MCU) Systems, Cisco Video Communications Server, Cisco Communications Manager, Cisco/Life-size/Polycom Codecs, Cisco Telepresence Management Suite Server, Firewall Traversal, Border Controller, IPVTC/VOIP, AV automation, wiring, amplifiers, microphones, projection systems, video cameras, and other A/V peripheral equipment, and STIG implementation.

  • Strong business communication skills with strong verbal communications to interface effectively

  • Strong customer service

  • Must be able to effectively conduct and interpret tests, and troubleshoot solutions of complex operational problems

  • Detail oriented and organized; able to understand AV/VTC systems and ensure accuracy of work

  • Able to review the work of others and detect errors or needed modifications

  • Able to identify and resolve problems or inadequacies of systems operations

  • Experience in IT Project Management including the cost, schedule, and performance management

  • Experience in IT Systems Engineering and integration of enterprise IT solutions

  • Experience in planning and engineering enterprise IT solutions

  • Experience supervising and managing IT support/service personnel

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), vulnerability assessments, IAVA reporting, and cybersecurity problem resolution.


Preferred Skills/Qualifications:



  • Barco, Samsung, Planar Installation certifications

  • Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, or ClearOne, certification

  • Possess a project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent Government certification

  • Possess an Agile management certification such as Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent

  • Experience developing and deploying operational capabilities using an Agile methodology (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe

Travel:



  • Travel may be required to various CONUS and OCONUS locations at the direction of the customer

Schedule:



  • Contractor personnel working on-site are required to work up to 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, during the contract period. A typical duty day while present onsite is from 0800 to 1730 Eastern Time (ET), Monday through Friday. The scope of this contract provides 24/7/365 IT Service Management and support. As such, some positions may be required to perform shift work and may be required to provide surge capability in support of the customer’s mission.
