Spathe is currently searching for a Project Manager Level 2 to join our team.


 


Spathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and Coronado. Responsibilities

The Project Manager L2 (PM L2) has primary responsibility for managing a specific project or projects assigned by the Government, to include project requirements, scope, budget, schedule and performance.  The PM L2 monitors, adjusts, and reports on the project’s performance, budget and schedule.  The PM L2 shall provide interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis.  The PM L2 assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of studies, reports, and acquisition documents.

Qualifications

Clearance Required:



  • TS/SCI ; SECRET


Educational Requirements: 



  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a major field of study which either provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex Automated Information System (AIS) projects or is closely related to the work as described and required by the Statement of Objectives.  Candidates may not substitute experience for education for this position.


Certification Requirements: 



  • PMI

  • PMP


Experience Requirements: 



  • Ten years of progressive and intensive experience in management, with at least two years of relevant experience in a position with duties commensurate to those defined in the Statement of Objectives, or five years of specialized experience in a position with duties commensurate to those defined in the Statement of Objectives. Must have a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition law, regulations, policies and procedures, including substantial involvement in a major acquisition effort.

Travel:



  • Up to 10% travel during the year.


Salary: 70k-120k
