Overview

Spathe is currently searching for a Facilities Management - Administrative Services Support Specialist to join our team in the Tampa, FL area to support a multi-year contract with the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of USSOCOM. As the Administrative Specialist (Facilities Management), you will provide the JSOU customer and Spathe Site Lead with facilities and logistic support that assist in the execution of JSOU’s facility management, logistics support, and asset management with emphasis on military inventory systems of record. Provide admin support to execute University and Campus facilities support services for faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

The candidate shall perform the following tasks:



  • Performs facility checks and assists with the submission of work orders and scopes of work as required.

  • Assists with the preparation of cost and quantity estimates. Prepares orders for materials and supplies for the university.

  • Receive, pick up, store, and maintain project material, tools, and consumable items required to accomplish assignments.

  • Maintain an organized workshop.

  • Maintain project records and data.

  • Perform facility inspections to identify deficiencies.

  • Maintains proper working order of building necessities including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical.

  • Coordinates shipments of course materials to adjunct instructors, faculty, and staff as needed.

  • Collaborated with outside agencies to resolve customer complaints with the appropriate actions to correct facility issues.

  • Manages inventory control, pick-ups, shipping, and receiving of supply orders.

Qualifications

  • 2 - 4 years’ experience with military inventory and supply systems of record. Able to submit work orders to the base facility management office in support of the university.
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience in managing facility maintenance personnel in coordinating and providing administrative support as needed.
  • 2 - 4 years’ experience operating Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • 2 - 4 years’ DoD experience (military, civilian, or Government contractor).
  • 2 years’ experience maintaining supply or facility work orders worksheets/cost worksheets.
  • Able to lift 35-50 lbs. individually or with an assistant.
