Spathe is currently searching for a DevSecOps Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Engineer to join our team in the Tampa, FL area.

Spathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and Coronado. • Assess and understand current infrastructure in order to identify use cases for secure automation of infrastructure.
• Leverage IaC uses cases to automate infrastructure configuration and tasks, such as resource management and monitoring, to streamline IT operations, create consistency, and provide visibility into infrastructure operations.
• Develop and maintain secure infrastructure using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible; and collaborating with operations teams to ensure security is integrated into every stage of network operations.
• Recommend and establish SLAs for service uptime, and build the necessary telemetry and alerting platforms to monitor and enforce SLAs.
• Create tools to empower operations to manage production infrastructure.

• Current DoD 8570 IAT or IAM level II or above
• Experience working with DoD distributed data centers and protecting sensitive data
• 2+ years of experience with Azure
• 2+ years of experience with Cisco based networks and Cisco tools for network mapping, monitoring, and automation
• 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code implementation
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP and HTTPS
• Experience building platforms for monitoring and alerting
• Understanding of cryptographic devices and key management
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Experience with templating frameworks like Terraform or Resource Template Manager
• Demonstrated technical leadership experience and the ability to prepare informational and decision briefings for senior leaders
• Have a passion for agile and DevSecOps methodologies and experience with DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Ref Design.
• Strong “security first” mindset.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitLab CI, Perforce, SVN, TFS/VSTS/Azure DevOps)
• Highly desired: Cisco certification and Azure certifications

Clearance Required:

• Minimum SECRET clearance required

Job Type:

• Full Time (4 months)

Work Location:

• One location – Tampa, FL

Travel:

• 1 to 4 trips to Stuttgart Germany during the 4 month period of performance.
