Overview

Spathe is currently searching for five Support Engineer Regional Site Leads to join our team in the following areas; Tampa, FL, FT Liberty, NC, JBLM, WA, Stuttgart, Germany and Camp Smith, HI.

 

Spathe Systems is a rapidly growing SOF led, 8(a) defense contractor headquartered in Tampa, FL with offices in Fayetteville, NC and strategic partner locations in Virginia Beach and Coronado. As a small business with a tight knit family feel, Spathe empowers its employees to solve problems and make decisions.

Responsibilities

  • The Support Engineer Regional Site Lead (RSL) positions are considered critical. 
  • The RSL acts as a contact hub for all site leads in their region, and facilitates communication across all domains back to the program manager and COR.
  • The RSL's will support PEO SDA, USSOCOM Components, the Theater Special Operation  Commands (TSOCs) and others as mission dictates by providing software-agnostic field support Engineers (SE) for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, as well  as providing technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems support.
  • The RSL's will provide support in the following major domains

Operations Domain (4 FTEs):

  • Engineer support to operations requires knowledge on SOCOM and Joint  Staff operations and targeting cycles, understanding of Tactical Data Links, and routing of COP data. 
  • Must know, support, and teach all SOCOM and Joint Staff programs of record for COP management, 
    Operational Area of Interest (OAI) management, Commander Critical Information Requirements (CCIR)
    management, as well as other software programs available to units that support an operational 
    requirement.
  • Global support to operations must work with assigned units to understand unit specific 
    requirements and report to SOCOM all operation capability gaps for software and technology at the unit 
    level.
  • Regional GSSE Leads must collaborate, coordinate, and synchronize efforts as required with 
    appropriate Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) and relevant Joint Task Forces and has a solid 
    understanding of Task Organization as it pertains to Command and Control (C2) supporting or supported 
    and command relationships.
  • GSSE Operations domain support includes attending and maintaining situation awareness on Area of Responsibility (AoR) level working groups as it pertains to Mission  Command and C2 efforts to include but not limited to, COP Working Groups, Joint Fires Working Group, Sustainment, Protection and Tactical Data Link (TADL) Working Groups.
  • Mid-level and Senior level have the similar scope of work but vary in experience required between mid and senior level. 

 

Intelligence Domain (1 FTE):

  • Engineer support to Intelligence domain requires in-depth knowledge on  SOCOM and Joint Staff intelligence analysis principles and intelligence cycles to include a working knowledge of the major intelligence disciplines: Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT).
  • Global Support  contractors with intelligence domain experience must be able to create and conduct tailored courses on 
    SOF programs of record, in addition to commercial or government sponsored, mission relevant  technologies to provide subject matter expert insight to end users on how to use those technologies to  build a comprehensive intelligence picture.
  • In addition to current technologies, the contractor must be  able to adapt to future technologies ensuring the seamless integration into their hosting unit’s intelligence production schedules.
  • Mid-level and Senior level have the similar scope of work but vary in experience required between mid and senior level.

Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies.
  • Detailed working knowledge of processes and procedures for using automated tools to plan, support, and execute Special Operations roles for mission planning.
  • Ability to develop processes and techniques which enhance the mission planning environment and reduces the workload for other mission planning support Contractors.

Operations Domain (SR)(4 FTEs):

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in technical support position and Operational 
    or Intelligence Community (IC) operations, platforms, functions, and 
    terminology experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in implementing and training software 
    systems/updates, standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

 

Intelligence Domain (SR) (1 FTE):

  • Minimum 8 years with communicating intelligence and operations details to 
    senior leaders.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience managing FSEs and teams geographically 
    dispersed

 

Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI
