Spathe is currently searching for a Senior Software Developer to join our team in the Ft. Meade, MD area.

• Assess current IT environment
• Maintain and support the Metrics and Assessments team's MetDb database and continue to export CATS data and import it into the MetDb database to support case closure reports.
• Maintain and support the Common Letter Wizard (CL W) website to generate official DCSA Adjudications correspondence based on case details entered by adjudicators.
• Create and maintain replacement websites as required.
• Maintain and support the DCSA Adjudications Tracker application used throughout DCSA Adjudications for entering productive hours and case actions and for calculating productivity metrics for DCSA Adjudications leadership. Continue to expand this solution to add new capabilities such as Case QA and processing tracking.
• Maintain and support the Case Works case workflow management system to support multiple DCSA Adjudications offices to include contractor psychological evaluation tracking. Continue to expand this system to support other case workflows within DCSA Adjudications.
• Create a DCSA Adjudications Leadership dashboard for DCSA Adjudications senior leadership with specifications directed by the government representative.
• Build no more than five (5) prototype systems per year as required, based on new technologies that can be used to streamline and improve the mission of the organization.

• Have current DoD 8570 IAT or IAM level II (i.e. SEC+)
• Must have 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining Microsoft .NET applications using Visual Basic and/or C#.
• Must have 5 years of experience in the full life cycle of custom software development using languages such as C#, JavaScript, Visual Basic, Java.
• Must have 2 years specialized experience working with SQL and /fourth generation languages in the design and implementation of systems and using database management systems.
• HIGHLY DESIRED: BS in Computer Science, or related STEM field.
• HIGHLY DESIRED: Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
